These meetings offer an opportunity to delve more deeply into the nature of moment-to-moment experience. Through inquiry and dialogue, John invites each person to explore the ways in which experience transcends (i.e., deviates from) what we typically imagine it to be. While our conventional interpretations and mental frames of reference often suggest lack and limitation and problem, beyond the descriptive labels we tend to place upon it, raw, unfiltered experience itself turns out to be so much richer, fuller, and more awe-inspiring than we ever could have imagined.

While the focus of each one-on-one session is this exploration into what direct experience is actually like, outside of the more conventional interpretations we so often layer on top of it, there is no set structure to these meetings as what transpires is very much driven by the particular and unique background, experience and questions that each person brings to them.
